What's that? Oh, a non-bender? You can still find a partner to spar with, right? ♣ 9. It's late. Have a drink at the pub! Get to know one another. Let it all flow freely!
	♠ 10. Yeah! You've got a driver's license! Everyone else better watch out... ♠ 11. Entertainment's just rolled on into the city! Watch the ostrich-horses race or the acrobats perform. Or maybe you're one of them! ♠ 12. It's a long line at whatever vendor you're at. Make small talk with nearby civilians or try and haggle the vendor down to a better price.

[Aang's still getting used to all of this timey-wimey business. But right now? He could use a tea break.

So he stops into a tea shop and seems impressed by the atmosphere. He hasn't yet noticed the presence of a certain someone, but he happens to be pondering aloud.]

Wow, this almost reminds me of Iroh's tea shop. I wonder what happened to him these days...

[That was a very good question, but it's one whose answer he'd prefer not to have detailed. Though about seventy years in the future, he has an idea. He was coming out of the kitchen to deliver a pot of tea to one table when he sees the young monk and hears the remark.]

Asking questions is often a good way of finding the answers you seek. [Iroh smiles warmly as he approaches.] It is good to see you again, Aang.

[Aang turns with a surprised smile. It hasn't been long for him since he last saw Iroh, but any familiar face here is a sight for sore years.]

Iroh! It's good to see you, too! Wow... You don't look a day older than that time we celebrated the end of the war at your tea shop!

[teaspirited]

[He chuckled, partly because there wasn't too much aging left for him to do. Short of his hair getting whiter, that is.]

That's the last time I saw all of you. The next day, I found myself on a boat headed for this city. I'm not quite sure how I got there, but I suppose life had a few more surprises in store for me than I thought. I must say, it's nice to see familiar faces here.

[He could get more wrinkly and pruney! Aang remembers Guru Pathik as the ultimate model of oldness.]

Really? That's like how I got here! I'm really glad to see familiar faces, too. [It makes it different from the last time he found himself in the future. This time he's not alone.]

Do you really think this is the future?

[Just don't expect him to get thin and bony as he continues aging.]

It's very possible. Everything I've seen here so far suggests that we're in the future. While I've seen my share of large cities, I've never seen one quite like this. [It didn't just sprawl out, it reached high into the skies too. And all the mechanical contraptions that could be seen were just incredible. The airships in the sky were especially a huge surprise when he first arrived.]

But if this isn't the future, then we have more questions besides exactly how we got here and why.

[Such as why make a place that looks like it could be from their future?]

Yeah... you're right. It's got to be. I've been seeing statues all over the place, too. Of myself and of all of my friends. It's so weird...

I can imagine it is. For now, I would recommend going along with our new setting and seeing if the meaning behind our arrival here comes to light. Everything happens for a reason, after all.

[It made sense to do so, especially as there wasn't any apparent way back to their own time.]

So you're making some tea again? That's one way to get along!

I found this place by chance and the owner agreed to let me work here. Making tea is one of the greatest joys I've experienced in life, and I like sharing it with others even more.

[He reached out and placed his hands on Aang's shoulders.]

You will find a place where you belong here too, I'm sure of it. If not today, perhaps tomorrow.

[Aang feels a lot less nervous from Iroh's words and his hold. And he laughs.]

Iroh, I don't think it's hard for you to find somewhere to belong as long as there's tea to make. But... I'm sure I'll find a place, too.

People keep saying all kinds of things... [He rubs at his neck more nervously.] Like- like there're new airbenders.

[That was true enough and he chuckles for a moment. But there are more important things at hand to discuss.]

I did hear there were five new airbenders from a new friend I played Pai Sho with last night.

[Just gonna skip over that it was Aang's future son. But if he happens to have met Bumi, well... That's a whole other can of hogmonkeys he'll open when they get there.]

Can you believe it? [He looks on as if daydreaming.] I was starting to think that... that I'd never see any more again. But now... They're really back. I can't wait to meet them.
