January AC
Hello, Cyclicality players!
Today is the first day of AC for the month of January. It lasts a week, beginning today, January 26th and lasts until Februray 1st @ 12:01AM EST. You have until that time to respond to this post or your character will be swept from the game. If your character was accepted in the last app cycle, you simply need to use the check-in form. Characters who were apped before then will need to use the regular AC form. Even if you can't make AC, comment here and let us know! We understand things happen.
To make AC, you need a total of 15 comments from the current month spread out across at least two threads, preferably from different posts; one of those threads must come from an open post. By "open post" we mean any post made by anyone that is open to the entire game. Only count your own comments in the total comment count. IC inboxes and private logs are acceptable for use in AC as long as they are coupled with an open thread. You can use more than 2 threads, but please don't give us fifteen threads with one comment each since that goes against the spirit of building CR.
We're also allowing a new method of meeting AC, and that is by posting. You may use one of your own posts plus an additional 10 comments from other threads. As usual, at least one of the thread(s) or the post must be public. If you use a post to meet AC, we ask that you do not count the comments inside your post as part of the additional 10 comments.
Finally, if you are currently on hiatus or if your hiatus lasted at least two weeks in January, you're exempt from AC as long as you follow the hiatus rules. We would, however, appreciate if you used the check in form just to let us know if you're still around.
