☯ 1. The barrier has fallen and the entirety of the Avatar world is open for exploration. If you're going to the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom or any of the Air Temples, you might have a few days to travel. Stuck on a boat, airship or flying bison; yeesh! Those headed to the Fire Nation have the option of taking an ominous-looking portal located on Air Temple Island which will zip them straight there! No matter the destination, the population of each nation seems a little... thinned out.
☯ 2. Do you have an OU counterpart somewhere? Does that counterpart have some kind of bending-related ability? Then today is your lucky today! Gone are the days of bending (or non-bending); today, you get the powers your OU counterpart has! Alternatively, you thought you were out of the woods when everyone else had their bending messed up; not so anymore!
☯ 3. The city is in desperate need of vigilantes. Maybe. Vandals are ruining the city. Some are destroying property while others are making inappropriate graffiti on the walls and streets of the city.
☯ 4. Fresh off the boat? You know, now that all the barriers have dropped? Well you better find yourself a place to live and a place to work; otherwise you might as well make yourself home in Avatar Korra Park or ask for help on Air Temple Island.
[There's a little girl skipping through the streets of Republic City today with a cheery smile on her face, she's even humming to herself as she wanders about in her pretty pink dress, pigtails bouncing and parasol twirling over her head. She's sticking to herself, apparently quite eager to take in the sights of the bustling city and she certainly seems harmless enough.
Except anybody who brushes past her might feel a shift in the air, like something's very wrong in her presence. Avatars or anybody with any spiritual awareness might also find alarm bells ringing in their heads.....]
Aaah~ Things have changed so much since the last time I was here. I can't wait to meet everybody here!
Carving A Path... Or Something Like It
[Republic City is a dangerous place to roam at night. There's definitely no shortage of unsavory types looking to take advantage of the unwary and helpless looking. Take this scene for instance: a small girl catching the eye of some hardened street toughs before bouncing away down an alley. Being followed by a group of men who quickly draw knives upon seeing her cornered and demand any money and valuables she might be carrying.
It's a frightening situation to be sure... definitely not one where you'd expect that same girl to giggle.]
Ah, you caught me! I'm really glad you decided to follow me, now you can come and be part of my collection. [Beaming brightly as can be, she raises her hand, shimmering red thread coiled around her fingers.] I just know we'll be best friends~!
[And that's when the screaming starts....]
[OOC: Warning for possible body horror elements and/or dolls for the second prompt there. Nui will still be a creepy little thing in the first prompt but not outright terrifying, unless you want her to be.]
[ Jin happened to be near the girl bouncing with energy when she skipped on by. She had never seen a girl so chipper and colorful before. It was actually really interesting! Jin slowly tried following her. ]
[Oh? It looks like she's already picked somebody up. And such a cutie too! She'll let the chase go on for a little while just to see how determined the girl is to keep up with her before she comes to an abrupt stop, tilts her head and touches her cheek thoughtfully.]

[She keeps talking even as Jin looks away, her voice playful enough, singsong even as she makes a show of looking high and low for her mysterious follower.]
