	♠ 10. Yeah! You've got a driver's license! Everyone else better watch out... ♠ 11. Entertainment's just rolled on into the city! Watch the ostrich-horses race or the acrobats perform. Or maybe you're one of them! ♠ 12. It's a long line at whatever vendor you're at. Make small talk with nearby civilians or try and haggle the vendor down to a better price.

"They name is Teo," he paused as he snapped his goggles onto his face and gave Wan a big thumbs up.

"And I was born ready."

Teo was about to see an airbending technique that hadn't been used in literally thousands of years. With good reason, really, it took a lot of raw power to accomplish. But raw power was something Wan had plenty of.

He threw his arms out and helicoptered them once around as he hopped up. A heavy white cloud formed under him, catching his feet as it started to spread toward Teo's glider. Once it was firmly under both of them, Wan launched them skyward without further preamble, leaving the (rightfully) amazed crowd behind and below them. Airebending wasn't commonly seen, even after the upset of Harmonic Convergence.

Wan brought them back down on the outstretched arm of Avatar Aang's statue a lot more carefully than their take off. When they were settled, he dismissed the cloud and put his hands on his hips, "Yeah. This will make a great place to land."

Teo let out a loud and excitable cheer to Wan's ability. Even the take off got his blood pumping and his heart racing. This Wan character was one awesome Air Bender, and he was positive that Aang would definitely approve of him too.

"Wan, you are seriously amazing! I am so glad I almost ran into you."

[raavashing]

Wan gave a laugh, "Well, then I'm glad you almost ran into you, too. I've never met anyone who found a way to fly without the power of air before. Why do you sit down for it, though?"

He once again started to study the contraption, not at all aware that Teo couldn't walk. Wheelchairs were not exactly an invention in his time. sorry

Teo couldn't help but laugh a little in amusement. It's like this guy has never seen a wheelchair before. Actually they probably weren't the most common anyway, but still. Teo wasn't bothered by the comment though. He was only curious and he never minded talking about it.

" It's because my legs don't work. I can move around like everyone else because the wheels act as my legs sort of?"

[raavashing]

"That's pretty amazing," Wan said as his eyebrows raised and he reached out to touch one of the wheels. Anyone unfortunate enough to have bad legs in the Lion Turtle City had to spend their lives sitting or laying down and being taken care of by others. They weren't able to do so much for themselves. Putting wheels on them would have been genius.

"So you can fly and you can walk without legs," he continued, straightening back up as he teased a little. "Next you're going to tell me you're the Avatar and you only let me use the air to get us up here to make me feel useful."

Teo laughed and puffed out his chest a little. " As a matter of fact... you would be 100% wrong if you thought that," He laughed out and rested his arms on his chair.

"The glider and the chair were both things my dad created. I helped him with the glider, but the chair was all him. "

He seemed to have a warm smile on his face while he talked about this stuff. His dad was important to him, and he sort of gained his dad's love for inventing things too.

Wan noticed that smile and crossed his arms. Teo seemed like a pretty great guy. All smiles and optimism. A bit of kindred spirit in that.

"Well, you might not be the Avatar," he grinned as he started shaping the air, "But I think the Avatar would have been very lucky if he had been reincarnated as you. You love flying and you aren't letting anything stop you from doing it. Even a lack of wings or power over air."

Wan formed another cloud under himself as he formed a stronger funnel that pulled at the currents running across the arm, "And speaking of flying, you better get in the air. I want to see what you can do with that thing."

He was about to mention his good friend Aang, but he was quickly distracted by that awesome cloud that Wan made. Seriously, this was some pretty awesome Airbending, and Teo was wondering if there was anything that could even top this.

He laughed and got himself comfortable in his seat. He never had a problem with showing off a little bit.

"I've done this for a while now, so you won't have to worry about me, Wan. I'm ready when you are."

[raavashing]

"Then lets go!" Wan threw his arms forward, twisted his hands as if grabbing an invisible rope, and literally yanked the currents he'd been creating towards him as he lifted off the statue's arm. The blast of air that hit Teo's glider from behind was enough to give it a strong push forward and force it to 'hop'. Since Wan wasn't sure how the thing worked beyond having enough air under it, the rest was up to the gilderbender.

"Woohooo," He shouts loudly again as he zooms off into the sky.

He was quite comfortable up here in the sky. It was where he felt the most comfortable. So of course he had to show off a little to Wan. He got himself all ready and was doing flips and all sorts of tricks in the sky just with his wheelchair and glider.

[raavashing]

As Teo did his flips and barrel rolls, Wan rode his cloud in literal circles around the kid and across his path behind him. Every so often he 'encouraged' the wind to give new lift to Teo's wings. For as long as Teo was into it - or until the sun started to set (whichever came first) - Wan would keep it up, unknowingly helping him provide entertainment to a small crowd of onlookers at the statue's base.

Wan should feel quite proud of himself. he's already making a much better first impression on Teo than Aang had done when they first met. It would probably be around the time the sun started to set that they would finally settle down, because Teo was in no hurry to get out of the skies any time soon. He was just far too comfortable.

"Wan this is the best feeling ever!"

[raavashing]

As the sun began to go down, Wan started guiding the winds carrying Teo's glider toward the city and away from the giant statue of Aang. By the time their leisurely journey ended on the concrete wharf, the sun was just leaving the horizon, leaving only the electric lamps to light the streets. Wan settled himself on the ground first and then 'forced' Teo's glider down with a gentle funnel of wind that pulled him toward the Avatar.

"Sorry to bring your flight to an end," He said a bit ruefully, "But with the sun setting it'll be harder for me to watch your back and keep you in the air. The winds here aren't naturally strong enough to keep it going for as long as we did."

[whatbrake]

" You don't need to apologize. That was seriously amazing. I haven't had a good fly like that in a long time," He replied with a big smile on his face. He continued on to add ," Yeah you're certainly right about the winds here. They're nothing like the air around the northern air temples."

He laughs a bit and gives Wan his biggest smile. He really did appreciate him playing with him all day.

"Northern Air Temple?" Wan tilted his head as he moved to stand at Teo's side and take a better look at where they were. "Never heard of it. Is it like Air Temple Island, but to the north of the city? Is that where you live? We can probably fly there in under an hour if you can point it out and we keep low."
