"No? What time is he due back?" Albert steps inside and starts picking up loaves, setting them on the counter in even rows despite any protest Maya might utter. "He'll be upset if you sell bread off the floor too, y'know."

He turns his white-eyes on her with a small grin. "Or is that something he won't find out about too?"

"Not for a while. He went to deliver bread to a friend, and you know how chatty he can be. They're probably talking over tea as we speak." Meaning she has know idea when he's supposed to be back. But she's confident she'll have enough time to at least clean the place up. She's a new hire, but she's been around long enough to know her boss's habits. For the most part.

"And don't worry, I'm not gonna sell the floor bread. I'll eat it all myself!" Because she doesn't feel right just throwing it away. "Annnd...pay for it with my wages. I'll just tell him it was a busy day, and that we sold out of everything. Problem solved!"
