[Jinora has managed to dodge most of the crowds with a little luck and a lot of trademark airbender skill. She's been the object of a lot of attention, which she expected but...

In any case, she ends up at the statue of Lord Zuko and sees a young man staring at it rather intently. So she walks quietly over to him and examines the statue too.]

It's a pretty good likeness, but they made him look so serious.

[Zuko hears her, but doesn't bother to look. He's still staring at the statue and motions a hand at it when he replies.]

I know! They make me look stiff and humorless.

[Just like the Ember Island Players did. Gosh.]

[A light laugh.] I think most people completely miss Lord Zuko's sense of humor because it's very dry.

Wait. You?

[She actually gives him a good look. Fire Nation clothes, dark hair, fair skin. Jinora tilts her head a little and catches sight of the scar. It's hard to tell, but, unless this guy is really good at stage makeup, it looks real.]

I see the resemblance. [Of course, her mind doesn't immediately jump to 'time travel,' but she does get an odd feeling of uncertainty.]

[Zuko rubs the back of his head. His humor is dry? Well... at least someone recognizes he has a sense of humor. He then looks down at the girl and blinks once.

She's definitely a girl, but she looks like Aang. A lot like Aang.]

Yeah... me too.

[He's probably not talking about the statue though.]

Who are you?

[Jinora gives him a polite bow.]

My name is Jinora.

[Turns to Jinora and returns the gesture, bowing in the Fire Nation way with his fist against his palm.]

You're an Air Nomad. Are you related to Aang?

[He's already talked to Bumi after all, so he knows that Aang had kids. So it would make sense if he had grandkids or something. Not to mention the resemblance was just... wow.]

I'm Aang's granddaughter. [She recognizes that he doesn't give a name, but she assumes he has his reasons. Reasons possibly related to his alarming resemblance to the statue.]

Are you new to Republic City?

[He doesn't give his name because he's not really sure she would believe him even if he told her. Cause well, he's definitely gotten some weird reactions from people around here.]
